About
The artist behind every piece
SJ Designs Edge started with a question: what happens to materials that still have something left in them?
I make art, clothing, and room redesigns from repurposed materials: thrifted pieces, salvaged objects, fabric scraps, found metal. Every piece I make is traceable. I keep notes on what each material was, where it came from, and how it ended up in the work.
I work across three formats: framed art, wearable pieces, and room redesigns. The logic is the same in all three. You take something that was headed for the bin, and you give it a second story. The result is something that did not exist before, made from materials that already had a life.
I'm based in the US and work with clients nationally. Custom commissions are open. If you have materials you want to work with, or just a feeling you want to build toward, reach out. That's usually where the best work starts.
What to expect
- Every piece comes with a short card naming the source materials
- Custom sizing is available on clothing commissions
- Room redesign consultations include a material map and sourcing list
- Poster prints are signed, numbered, and printed on heavyweight matte paper
No two pieces are the same. That's the whole point.
